CCTV Theft of Sunglasses Appeal: Burton


Officers from East Staffordshire Local Policing Team (LPT) have issued a CCTV image of two women they want to speak to in connection with the theft of sunglasses from a Burton optician.

The incident occurred on Tuesday 9 June at 4.40pm when two women entered Prince and Bates Opticians, Station Street, and stole 9 pairs of Ray-Ban sunglasses from the display, total value estimated at £1,200.

The first woman is described as being white, aged in her 20s, slim build with long dark hair. She was wearing pink trainers.

The second woman is described as being white, aged in her 20s, slim build, with dark tied up hair. She was wearing dark leggings.

Anyone who has any information, or recognises the women captured on CCTV, is asked to contact Staffordshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 505 of June 9.
