Report of a burglary received at 8.30am this morning (2 September) at an address in Kingsley Road.
Offender/s forced entry to a secure garage and stole items including power tools, a pressure washer, chain saw, hedge cutters and lawnmower.
Incident believed to have occurred between 9.30pm 1 September and 8.10am 2 September.
Sergeant Sam Tweets, Deputy Commander for Staffordshire Moorlands Local Policing Team (LPT), said: “It is essential that people keep their homes, vehicles, sheds and outbuildings as secure as possible at all times. Opportunist thieves can strike in seconds and we need to make it harder for them to commit crime.
“There are numerous security devices available to protect property and I would encourage people to register their valuables at www.immobilise.com.
“If you see, or hear, anyone acting suspiciously in your community then please call us on 101.”
