Burglary in High Street, Stoke


Report of a burglary received at 5.25am this morning (9 September) at Superdrug in High Street.

Officers attended the scene; offender/s have forced entry to the property. Items stolen include fragrances, no further details at this time if any other property has been taken. A forensic examination of the scene is taking place today.

Inspector Richard Simpson, Deputy Commander for Stoke-on-Trent North Local Policing Team (LPT), said: “Business-related crime consists of shoplifting, robbery of business property, making off without payment, burglary of business premises (including attempts) and damage to business premises (including racially motivated). This type of crime causes misery for all those people connected to the business community. But by working together with our partners, and local businesses, we are determined to drive it down even further. “
