We received a report this morning (10 September) of a break-in at sheds in Dogshead Lane, Barton-under-Needwood.

Offenders gained entry to locked sheds by breaking locks between 6pm last night (9 September) and 7.30am this morning. Several mechanical tools have been stolen.

Chief Inspector Steve Maskrey, Commander of East Staffs Local Policing Team (LPT), said: “I urge anyone offered goods for sale in suspicious circumstances to call the police, that gives us the opportunity to investigate and work to return stolen property to the victims who paid good money for their property.”

Anyone with any information on the incident, or who is offered any items for sale in suspicious circumstances, is asked to contact Staffordshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 79 of 10 September.
