Report of a burglary received at 9.50am this morning (14 September) at a hotel, Calais Road.
Offender/s gained entry to the premises and stole the tills.
Chief Inspector Steve Maskrey, Commander of East Staffs Local Policing Team (LPT), said: “Business-related crime consists of shoplifting, robbery of business property, making off without payment, burglary of business premises (including attempts) and damage to business premises (including racially motivated).This type of crime causes misery for all those people connected to the business community. But by working together with our partners, and local businesses, we are determined to drive it down even further.”
An investigation is now underway and anyone with any information is asked to contact Staffordshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 156 of September 14.
