At around 4.20pm on Wednesday 27 May officers on routine patrol stopped a vehicle in Crab Lane. Following a search of the vehicle they found a quantity of class A drugs and cash.
The driver was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs and he remained on bail while an investigation was carried out.
Mohammed Shadique, 25, from the Perry Common area of Birmingham was charged with possession with intent to supply crack cocaine and heroin this morning, Thursday 17 September. He was released on bail to appear before magistrates at Cannock on Wednesday 21 October.
