APPEAL: Can you help with an investigation into a robbery in Wombourne?


The incident happened at around 10.10pm on Sunday 20 September when a man entered Cost Cutter Stores in Common Road. He assaulted a staff member with a bladed instrument before he made off with a quantity of cash from the till.

The victim, a 21-year-old man from Wolverhampton, suffered cuts to his head and face and was taken to Russell Hall Hospital for treatment. His injuries are not life threatening.

UPDATE 2/10/15: Detectives investigating this incident have arrested a 37-year-old man from Tipton. He remains in custody for questioning on suspicion of robbery. Thank you for all the shares of this appeal.
