Mobility scooter stolen in Newcastle

We received a call just after 10.15am this morning (23 September), reporting the theft of a mobility scooter that was taken overnight from an address in Newcastle.

The black Rascall 388XL scooter went missing this morning from the front of a property in Knype Close, where it had been parked up.

Chief Inspector Clare Riley, Commander of Newcastle Policing Team (LPT), said: “I urge anyone offered goods for sale in suspicious circumstances to call the police, that gives us the opportunity to investigate and work to return stolen property to the victims who paid good money for their property.”

Anyone with any information on the incident, or who is offered any items for sale in suspicious circumstances, is asked to contact Staffordshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 173 of 23 September.
