Thefts from garage in Stafford

We received a call just after 8am this morning (23 September), reporting a garage that had been broken into overnight in Stafford.

Between 7pm last night and 7.50am this morning, offenders gained entry to the garage via the up-and-over door at a house in The Garthlands, Stafford.

Items including 2 push bikes and 2 black mini holdalls containing welders masks were taken.

Chief Inspector Jane Hewett, Commander of Stafford Borough Policing Team (LPT), said: I urge anyone offered goods for sale in suspicious circumstances to call the police, that gives us the opportunity to investigate and work to return stolen property to the victims who paid good money for their property.”

Anyone with any information on the incident, or who is offered any items for sale in suspicious circumstances, is asked to contact Staffordshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 87 of 23 September.
