Tools stolen from Van in Uttoxeter

We received a call just after 8am this morning (23 September), reporting a van being broken into overnight in Uttoxeter.

Between 9pm last night and 7.30am this morning the van was broken into via a side sliding door while it was parked up on a drive in Windsor Road.

Offenders removed a large black holdall containing several battery powered drills and an electrical tester.

Chief Inspector Steve Maskrey, Commander of East Staffs Local Policing Team (LPT), said: I urge anyone offered goods for sale in suspicious circumstances to call the police, that gives us the opportunity to investigate and work to return stolen property to the victims who paid good money for their property.”

Anyone with any information on the incident, or who is offered any items for sale in suspicious circumstances, is asked to contact Staffordshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 89 of 23 September.
