APPEAL FOR INFORMATION: MAN FOUND INJURED, CANNOCK


Police are appealing for information after a man was found lying in a Cannock street with serious injuries.

Colleagues from the ambulance service were called to a report of a man injured in Harrison Road last night (Thurs).

The 55-year-old man, from the local area, was taken to the University Hospital of North Staffordshire with serious head injuries. He remains there in a critical condition.

An investigation is now underway to establish how the man came by his injuries.

Anyone with information about the man, or who may have seen him walking in the area, is asked to contact Staffordshire Police on 101 quoting incident 790 of October 1. The man is described as white, around 5ft 9in tall with a medium build.
