Two Co-op stores were broken into overnight between Thursday 1 October and Friday 2 October 2015 in Burton and Stafford.
Officers responded to reports of a break-in at the Co-op in The Precinct, Main Street, Stretton near Burton, at around 3.05am and a second at 4.15am at the Co-op in First Avenue, Stafford. A large number of cigarettes were stolen from both stores.
Investigations are underway into both burglaries and officers will be making inquiries to establish if the incidents are linked.
