APPEAL: Robbery, Trent Vale, S-o-T


Police are appealing for witnesses after a robbery in the Trent Vale area of Stoke-on-Trent.

The incident happened at approximately 12.30pm on Saturday 3 October when a 26-year-old man was walking home from work.

He was approached by a man in Mace Street park who asked for a cigarette.

The man was then assaulted and had his blue coat/fleece stolen. This contained a mobile phone, a bank card and a quantity of cash. He attended hospital after suffering a minor head injury but has since been discharged.

The offender is described as white, aged approximately 25, with a medium build. He was clean shaven and spoke with a local accent.

He was wearing a dark-coloured beanie-type hat and a blue top. It is believed a second male offender was also present.
