Credit Card Theft: CCTV Appeal

CCTV AppealOfficers from Tamworth Local Policing Team (LPT) have issued a CCTV image of two men they want to speak to in connection with a credit card theft in Tamworth.

The incident occurred at 4pm on Tuesday 22 September, when a credit card was stolen from an elderly lady whilst she was shopping in Morrisons, Upper Gungate.

The card has since been used at various locations to withdraw cash and purchase goods.

The men are both described as having an olive complexion, 5ft 10in tall and in their 40s.

One of them was of medium build. He had dark brown hair at the sides and was bald on top. He was wearing a light blue long-sleeved shirt and trousers.

The second man was of slim build and bald. He was wearing a light coloured shirt with a blue sleeveless jumper, blue jeans and black shoes.

Anyone who has any information, or who knows the men captured on CCTV, is asked to contact Staffordshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 598 of September 22. Alternatively they can contact independent charity Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
