APPEAL: Did you witness an incident in Trentham?


We’re appealing for witnesses after a vehicle was abandoned after a pursuit by Central Motorway Police Group (CMPG).

The vehicle, a grey Audi A3, was reportedly involved in a non-stop road traffic collision on the M5 in West Mercia just before 7.50am today (Weds). A short while later it activated cameras on the northbound M6, CMPG officers were able to located it at near junction 12 but it made off and left the motorway at junction 15.

At around 8.30am it was abandoned in Longton Road, Trentham, and four men made off. They were last seen heading across land between Old Road and the A34.

They are described as black and one was wearing a Puffa style jacket and grey tracksuit bottoms.

Officers remain in the area carrying out a search for the men, with assistance from the Dog Support Unit and Air Support Unit.
