Village shop burglary investigated


Officers are investigating a burglary at a village shop in Shenstone,
Lichfield, in which a large quantity of cigarettes was stolen.

We received a report of a break in at the shop on Main Street shortly after
midnight, Saturday, November 21.

Two men were reported as using a crowbar to force open shutters and the
main door. They made off with a large sack containing cigarettes before
driving away in a white Audi A6 towards Pinfold Hill and Lynn Lane.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact Staffordshire Police on
101, quoting incident 4 of November 21. Alternatively, they can contact the
