Police are appealing for witnesses to a collision in which a vehicle was driven at excessive speed through Madeley village on to Poolside at around 3.20pm on November 28.
The vehicle ended up facing in the opposite direction and on top of a wall after the driver lost control, clipped a pavement and spun the car.
The collision narrowly missed a woman walking with a child along the pavement.
Two occupants in the gold Vauxhall Omega ran from the scene.
Police are keen to speak to this pedestrian and also to anyone who may have witnessed the incident.
