We received a call just before 3am this morning (22 December) reporting a break-in at a house in Cannock.
Offenders entered a house in Victoria Street at approximately 2.40am this morning (Tuesday) by smashing a window and then reaching inside to open the locking mechanism, before climbing inside. The occupants of the house, who were asleep inside the property, were alerted to the intruders after hearing noises downstairs.
The offenders searched part of the property before the alarm was activated and they fled.
A black rucksack was stolen and used to store the following stolen items:
- Apple ipad mini in pink case
- Silver Apple ipad in black case
- EE telephone and charger
- Sony Experia mobile phone and charger
- 24″ television
- Set of house keys and alarm fob.
Anyone with any information on the incident, or who is offered any such items for sale in suspicious circumstances, is asked to contact Staffordshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 45 of 22 December.
