Two car collision on A38 near Branston


We received a call just before 10.30am this morning (23 December) reporting a two car collision on the A38 at Branston.

A grey Toyota Yaris and a black Vauxhall Insignia were involved in the incident on the Northbound carriageway of the A38, Clay Mills.

One vehicle ended up on its roof down an embankment and the other vehicle was blocking the road.

Ambulance services attended the incident and two people were taken to hospital to be checked over, although only minor injuries were reported.

Both vehicles have now been recovered and the road was clear by 11.40am.
