We received a call on Monday 28 December reporting a vehicle break-in in Harriseahead.
Two offenders had broken into the white Ford Transit van at 6.10am on that morning whilst it was parked on a residential driveway in High Street. After making an untidy search of the van they stole a black iphone 5, but ran off when they were disturbed by the family dog barking.
CCTV footage has been viewed by officers but unfortunately it is of no evidential value.
Anyone with any information on the incident is asked to contact Staffordshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 224 of 28 December.
