Do you have information about Uttoxeter assault?


Police are continuing to appeal for witnesses to an assault with a bladed instrument in Uttoxeter town centre in which a 42-year-old man sustained serious facial and head injuries.

The man is believed to have been attacked by a group of men in the early hours of Wednesday, December 30. He was found in Market Place although the assault took place in the vicinity of Carter Street.

One man has been arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm. He is aged 45 and from the Uttoxeter area and has been bailed to a date in February whilst inquiries continue.

The injured man is from the Doveridge area.
