Did you witness assault in Stoke-on-Trent?


Police are appealing for witnesses to an assault in Stoke-on-Trent on Wednesday, December 16.

The incident is believed to involve an altercation between a group of people on Stafford Street around 7pm.

An 80-year-old man from Stoke-on-Trent was taken to hospital with a facial injury, and a 41-year-old man sustained minor facial injuries. A 25-year-old woman was reported to have been punched in the face by another man.

Inquiries to establish the circumstances of the incident are ongoing and officers are keen to hear from anyone who may have information.
