Did you see teenager being assaulted in Cheslyn Hay?

Officers are investigating an assault on an 18-year-old female in Landywood Lane, Cheslyn Hay on the evening of Tuesday, January 5.

The female was approached by a male at about 8.15pm as she walked along Landywood Lane near its junction with Rosewood Park.

He pushed her to the ground and kicked her a number of times on the leg and abdomen, causing bruising and swelling.

She was left badly shaken.

Several motorists who drove along the road at the time of the incident may have witnessed the assault or seen the offender. Officers are also keen to trace a woman who passed the victim shortly after the incident.

The male is described as around 18 years old, 5ft 8″ tall and of skinny build. He was dressed all in black with a scarf covering his face.
