APPEAL: Did you witness off licence robbery?


Police are investigating a robbery at an off licence in Meaford Drive, Stoke-on-Trent in which the shop owner was threatened with a bladed instrument.

The incident occurred around 5pm and the offender stole cash from the till and cigarettes before making off towards a wooded area.

The shop owner was badly shaken but was not injured.

The offender is described as a white male wearing a black mask, black hooded jacket, black jeans and white gloves. He was carrying a black JD drawstring bag.
