Police are appealing for two motorists to come forward, whom they believe witnessed a road traffic collision in which a woman died.
The collision occurred on Clough Street, Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent at 7.35pm on Friday, January 8.
PC Andy Hogan-Hughes from Staffordshire Police’s collision investigation unit said: “We are particularly keen to speak to the drivers of a dark-coloured hatchback car and of a light-coloured soft top saloon that were seen on Clough Street travelling behind the vehicle involved in the collision.”
Inquiries into the circumstances of the collision are ongoing.
Mobeen Hussain aged 25 of Kirby St, Cobridge, Stoke -on- Trent died in the collision. A 30 year-old woman from Cobridge was arrested in connection with the collision and remains on police bail.
