Two men have been arrested on suspicion of human trafficking offences following a multi-agency operation led by Staffordshire Police.
Officers executed five warrants this morning (Friday) after receiving information from concerned members of the public about suspicious activity at several addresses.
Three addresses in Albert Road, Tamworth; one in Fazeley Road, Fazeley, and one on The Gullet, Polesworth, Warwickshire, were raided by police.
A 32-year-old man was arrested at the Warwickshire address and a 32-year-old was arrested at one of the Albert Road addresses on suspicion of human trafficking. They have been taken into custody.
As a result of today’s activity a male has been taken into care.
