Robbery Appeal: Newcastle


Officers from Newcastle Local Policing Team (LPT) are appealing for information following a robbery in Newcastle.

The incident occurred at 12.15am on Sunday 17 January when the victim was walking along Old Butt Lane, Talke, outside the Co-op. He was approached by two men who punched and kicked him. Following a struggle they stole a set of keys and a wallet containing cash and cards.

The 17-year-old male victim, from Newcastle, received hospital treatment for injuries to his face and back.

The two men are described as wearing dark clothing, hoods and had their faces covered. They are believed to be aged in their early 20s.
