The Nissan Micra stolen on Wednesday (10 February) has been found in Poplar Drive, Blurton, Stoke-on-Trent.
We received a call at 11.20am yesterday morning (Thursday 11 February) from a member of the public who had seen the vehicle parked up with the keys still in the ignition.
Officers from Stoke-on Trent South Local Policing Team (LPT) are appealing for information following the theft of a car in the Fenton area of Stoke-on-Trent this morning (10 February).
At 5.50am this morning (Wednesday) a man delivering newspapers in Duke Street left his red Nissan Micra, registration number DK05ZTM, running in the street with the door closed when a man jumped into the driver’s seat and drove away in the direction of Heron Cross.
The owner did sustain injuries to his shoulder and grazing to his hand and leg as a result of the vehicle theft.
The offender is described as a man of slim build, about 5ft 5inches tall, wearing a dark coloured hoody with the hood up.
