Lorry in collision with railings in Norton Canes

We received a call this morning just before 11.30am reporting a lorry that had been in collision with railings in Norton Canes.

The collision, blocking the road, occurred at the crossroads of Burntwood Road and Brownhills Road, Norton Canes and caused damage to railings and the footpath, but there were no casualties.

The carriageway was cleared by 11.45am and Highways have been notified due to damge to the pavement and railings.

It was stolen from Sugar Loaf Lane in Iverley between 9pm on Wednesday 19 August and 6am on Thursday 20 August.

Officers are trying to trace the silver Ford drop lorry transit, registration number FN60NMX and want to hear from anyone who may know of it’s whereabouts.
