Theft in Fegg Hayes

Report of a theft from a motor vehicle received at 8.20am this morning (4 January) from an address in Oversley Road, Fegg Hayes.

Offender/s approached a secure van and stole a spare tyre from its cradle.

APPEAL: Motorists in Mill Hill and Tunstall – has your car stereo been stolen?

Motorists missing their car stereo and/or sat nav are encouraged to contact police after officers recovered suspected stolen property.

PC Kevin Cook, based at Burslem, is looking to reunite motorists with the property, which is believed to have been stolen from vehicles in the Mill Hill and Tunstall areas of the Stoke North Local Policing Team (LPT).

An investigation into recent thefts from vehicles has resulted in the arrest and charge of a man.

An 18-year-old from Stoke-on-Trent has been charged with one count of theft from a motor vehicle and is due to appear before magistrates in Newcastle on December 15.

Motorists are reminded to keep their vehicles secure at all times, and not to leave valuables on display.

Criminal Damage in Tamworth

We received a report of criminal damage to a vehicle at 7.50am this morning (26 October) at an address in Thomas Street, Tamworth.

Offender/s had knocked off the wing mirror panel of a car.

UPDATED 23 October: Car stolen from drive in Burntwood

UPDATE (23 Oct): Car stolen from an address in Farewell Lane, Burntwood, has now been found. Investigations are continuing.

We received a call at 7.15am this morning (22 October), reporting the theft of a vehicle from a property in Burntwood.

Offenders gained access to a house in Farewell Lane at around 3.30am this morning via an insecure front door and removed the keys to a white Mercedes SLK200 convertible which was then stolen from the driveway.

Report of criminal damage to a vehicle received at 3am this morning (5 Oct).

Between 9pm Sunday 4 October and 3am this morning offender/s slashed 3 tyres on a car parked in Stansmore Road, Meir.

We received a report of criminal damage to a vehicle at 9.10am this morning (5 October) in Werrington Road, Bucknall.

Offender/s smashed the rear window of a car.

Report of criminal damage to a vehicle received at 4.20am this morning (14 September) at an address in Brookfield Road.

Offender/s had smashed the driver’s side window.

Criminal Damage Reported in Leek

Report of criminal damage received at 7.35am to a vehicle parked in Queen Street.

The vehicle had been scratched down the length of the offside causing damage.
